Daejeon KAIST Tennis Courts

This project showcases the installation of LOZI’s Multicross series sports lighting at the student tennis courts of KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), located in the city of Daejeon.

A total of 24 Multicross 400 fixtures now illuminate the entire court area, delivering a uniform and crisp average illuminance of over 600 lux. The system’s flicker-free performance and high color rendering (80Ra) ensure an optimal visual experience, minimizing eye fatigue for students and maximizing immersion during extended night games.

Notably, LOZI’s proprietary asymmetric cut-off optical technology provides an eco-friendly solution that fundamentally controls light pollution. This design was crucial, considering the campus’s unique environment which houses Korea’s top research facilities, and it effectively minimizes any impact on surrounding study and research spaces. LOZI’s engineering excellence delivers all of this top-tier performance with a low power consumption of only 9.6kW, setting a new standard for university sports lighting.
